Joe J Thomas originally hails from Cleveland, with a stopover in Dallas prior to his move to Los Angeles.
Since moving to L.A. in the fall of 2002, Joe has established himself in the Voice Actor arena. He has been both a lead and featured artist in several films, video games, industrials, and festival shorts. To view a full list of credits, click here for his current resume.
Joe has also performed leading roles in a number of theatrical productions in the LA area. These include Anatoly in Chess, Wargrave in Ten Little Indians, and Sir Douglas Haig in Oh! What A Lovely War. He is also an accomplished Lyric Baritone singer, and been active with a local improv group to continue honing his comedic skills.
For over 25 years, Joe has performed in a wide variety of dramatic, comedic, and musical productions. His roles have been equally as diverse; ranging from sedate to maniacal, from dim-witted to vividly pompous, and from tragic to slapstick. Gifted with comic timing, realistic accents, and a deep span of emotions, audiences have found Joe both entertaining and realistic. In addition to his acting credits, Joe is also a trained bass/baritone singer, an improv comic with credits from several troupes, a murder mystery performer, and a stuntman.
Some of the past theatre roles that Joe is most proud of include his award nominated performance as C.S. Lewis in Shadowlands, John Adams in 1776, Gravis Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, and Henry Drummond in Inherit the Wind.
